Prepared for: Boldyn Networks

One document. Four phases. Every deliverable scoped to the SOW. Every client decision point marked. Nothing extra.
The destination: an executable brand playbook — the single reference that tells any Boldyn team how to tell the Boldyn story, in any format, for any audience. Strategy, expressions, framework mechanics, and vertical execution in one place. Executable means: pick it up, follow it, produce on-brand work without guessing.
Architecture Resolution is in progress. The strategic foundation holds — Daring Mastery wedge, vertical story banks, human outcome pillars, Built on Bold platform. Round 2 adds the creative execution layer the client requested:
| Phase | Timing | What Happens | 🚦 Client Gate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Architecture Resolution | Mar 17–21 | Round 2 deck built: Three Modes, Boldyn Filter, Mode × Expression Matrix layered onto existing architecture. Update memo sent to client for alignment before presentation. | GATE 1: Client reviews Update memo. Confirms alignment before R2 is presented as final. |
| 2. Architecture Lock | Mar 24–28 | R2 presentation to Braedon + Jamie (Mar 25). Incorporate feedback. Architecture locked by end of week (Mar 27). | GATE 2: Braedon/Jamie approve architecture. No playbook writing begins until this gate clears. |
| 3. Playbook Build | Mar 31–Apr 4 | Write all playbook sections per locked architecture. Executable format — every section gives the reader a clear action, not just a concept. Draft shared for client review. | GATE 3: Client reviews full playbook draft. Feedback returned within agreed window. |
| 4. Playbook Finalization | Apr 7–11 | Client feedback incorporated. Final playbook delivered. Companion deliverables (Commercial Input Model, Sales Materials, Localization Guide) delivered alongside. | GATE 4: Final sign-off. Playbook + companion deliverables accepted. |
Per the Phase II SOW. Nothing added, nothing removed.
| Deliverable | Category | Delivers With |
|---|---|---|
| Internal Playbook | Enablement & Adoption | Phase 4 |
| Commercial Input Model | Commercial Alignment | Phase 4 |
| Internal Sales Campaign Materials | Commercial Alignment | Phase 4 |
| Localization Guide | Localization & Consistency | Phase 4 |
| Approval/Feedback Workflow | Localization & Consistency | Phase 4 |
| Final Onboarding Materials | Enablement & Adoption | Phase 4 |
| Train-the-Trainer Session + Materials | Enablement & Adoption | Post-Phase 4 (up to 3 sessions) |
Four moments where the client must act. Nothing moves forward until the gate clears. No ambiguity about what "approved" means.
| Gate | When | Client Decision | If No Response |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gate 1: Pre-R2 Alignment | Mar 21 | Confirm Update memo direction is correct. Approve proceeding to R2 presentation. | R2 presentation pushed. Timeline shifts. |
| Gate 2: Architecture Lock | Mar 27 | Approve architecture as final. Three Modes, Boldyn Filter, Mode × Expression Matrix locked. No further structural changes. | Playbook build delayed. Every week of architecture drift = a week off the playbook timeline. |
| Gate 3: Playbook Draft Review | Apr 4 | Review full playbook draft. Provide consolidated feedback (one round). | Finalization delayed. Train-the-Trainer sessions cannot be scheduled. |
| Gate 4: Final Acceptance | Apr 11 | Accept final playbook + companion deliverables. Phase II complete. | Open items tracked via Change Order process per SOW. |
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| Mar 21 | Gate 1 — Client confirms Update alignment |
| Mar 25 | R2 presentation to Braedon + Jamie |
| Mar 27 | Gate 2 — Architecture locked |
| Mar 31 | Charly transition complete — Boldyn handoff |
| Apr 4 | Gate 3 — Full playbook draft to client |
| ~Apr 10 | Braedon parental leave — Svetlana Kogan steps in |
| Apr 11 | Gate 4 — Final deliverables accepted |
Three rules to keep this clean:
1. No Direction Changes Without Discussion
Any shift in strategic direction (not content edits — direction) gets flagged and discussed before execution. This applies to both sides. Learned from the R1 mechanic pivot: no one should wake up surprised by a directional change in a deliverable.
2. One Round of Consolidated Feedback Per Gate
At each client gate, Boldyn provides one consolidated set of feedback (not rolling comments over multiple days). MXU incorporates and returns. This prevents feedback loops from eating the timeline. If multiple stakeholders need to weigh in, they consolidate internally before sending.
3. Scope Boundary Is the SOW
If something is requested that falls outside the 7 deliverables listed above, it triggers the SOW's Change Order process. No scope creep. No over-building. We deliver what's scoped — excellently — and anything beyond gets a separate conversation.
What the playbook contains once architecture is locked. Each section is executable — the reader knows what to do, not just what to think.
| Section | What It Does |
|---|---|
| 1. Strategy & Story | Explains why Built on Bold exists. The Daring Mastery wedge. The corrected mechanic. How to test if a project fits. Reader leaves knowing: this is what makes Boldyn different from every competitor. |
| 2. Expressions | Three H1/H2 expressions: Engineering, Expertise, Partnership. Decision tree for when to lead with each. Half-Year and Protagonist expressions defined. Reader leaves knowing: which expression to use for their audience and format. |
| 3. Creative Framework | Three Modes (Proof, Promise, Identity). Boldyn Filter (4-question test). Mode × Expression Matrix. Creative Ambition Ladder. Reader leaves knowing: how to create content that is unmistakably Boldyn, for any scenario including markets with no proof yet. |
| 4. Vertical Execution | The full mechanic applied to Airports, Transit, Convention Centers. Real walkthroughs, not theory. Includes incorrect usage examples ("What this is NOT"). Reader leaves knowing: how to produce vertical-specific content start to finish. |
| Who | Does What |
|---|---|
| Tam (CSO) | Strategy lead. Reviews and approves all architecture and playbook content. Presents R2. Owns the client relationship on this workstream. |
| Made X Us | Builds all deliverables. Writes playbook sections. Manages timeline. Tracks gates. |
| Boldyn (Braedon/Jamie) | Reviews R2. Locks architecture. Provides consolidated feedback at each gate. Svetlana Kogan takes over ~Apr 10 during Braedon's leave. |
